    Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and the head Elf have announced that they will be visiting the City of Waukegan for a special holiday stop before Christmas! Bring the kids to personally talk to Santa, receive a wrapped present, make a special ornament, and enjoy delicious snacks.   2. Dancenter North Presents: The Magic of the Nutcracker

    December 9, 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM @ Genesee Theatre

    World-class entertainment comes home for the holidays! The Genesee welcomes Dancenter North's production of The Magic of the Nutcracker, the largest, most lavish version of this beloved ballet in Lake County. Featuring over 100 performers with renowned guest artists, thrilling battle scenes, stunning scenery, Tchaikovsky's beautiful score and graceful ballet dancers, this heartwarming holiday story is perfect for the whole family. A Lake County favorite for over 20 years! A second performance will take place at 5pm.
