    Lake County Baptist School (LCBS) is hosting its second Craft Show! The event will include multiple vendors, a craft fair, bake sale, and silent auction/raffle. Admission to this event is free! All funds raised will be used to fund the scholarship fund, assist in our technology updates, and support rising operational costs.

  2. Rx for Health: Walking in Nature

    April 8, 2017, 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM @ Hastings Lake

    Walking, especially in nature, can improve health! The Lake County Forest Preserve, the Lake County Health Dept and NorthShore University Health System bring naturalists and health care providers for guided walking tours of our forest preserves. These free walks take place rain or shine from 4 to 5:30pm as follows: • April 8, Hastings Lake, Lake Villa • April 29, Nippersink, Round Lake • May 20, Ryerson Woods, Riverwoods • June 17, Greenbelt, North Chicago • July 15, Old School, Mettawa • August 12, Van Patten Woods, Wadsworth • September 16, Grant Woods, Ingleside • October 14, Lyons Woods, Waukegan While you walk, speak with a NorthShore physician about health benefits of walking and learn about the outdoors from a naturalist. Walks are open to all ages, 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Walks are one to two miles. No pets are allowed, except service animals.

    God of Carnage by Yazmina Reza and directed by Erik Wagner revolves around two sets of parents, one of whose child has hurt the other, who meet to discuss the matter in a civilized manner. However, as the evening goes on, the parents become increasingly childish, resulting in the evening devolving into chaos. God of Carnage will take place at Three Brothers' new space at 221 N. Genesee Street.
