    The Waukegan Park District Fishing Derby, sponsored by Des Plaines Elks Lodge #1526, gives kids an opportunity to win fantastic prizes for the largest fish caught in five different age categories. Only one pole per person; a limited supply of fishing poles will be available with valid ID. This is a highly anticipated yearly event and pre-registration is suggested.

    Enjoy yoga on Saturday mornings at the Beach all summer! All levels are welcome and encouraged. A limited supply of yoga mats will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own, as well as yoga blocks and water. Dress accordingly.
