    Enjoy yoga on Saturday mornings at the Beach through the end of September! All levels are welcome and encouraged. A limited supply of yoga mats will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own, as well as yoga blocks and water. Dress accordingly.

  2. Downtown Waukegan Clean-Up

    September 30, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Heart of the City

    Help Heart of the City and Waukegan Main Street clean up the downtown! Groups of volunteers will gather at Heart of the City at 9:00 am and make their way down Genesee Street toward Belvidere. Once the cleanup concludes, lunch will be provided back at Heart of the City.

    Join our Waukegan High School Bulldogs for Homecoming! The parade kicks off the festivities in the morning, followed by the varsity football game starting at 1:30pm at Weiss Field. What would you give to be held? Join Three Brothers Theatre as they take you on a journey through a silent population. Four homeless individuals deal with love, loss, and family as they navigate the waters surrounding the disappearance of their friend, Mandy. Written and Directed by Caitlin DiGiacomo, with materials used from interviews with members of the Waukegan community, Wherever You've Been is a powerful look at the social and personal struggles between those who are homeless, and those who are not. Intended for mature audiences only.

    Puddles the Clown teamed up with Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox to record Lorde's hit song "Royals" and it instantly went viral. The YouTube video has received over 19 million vieww. The "Sad Clown with the Golden Voice" has captivated audiences from around the world. When he takes the stage, he puts his suitcase down and doesn't utter a word. When the music starts and you hear that voice for the first time, you're in disbelief. It's mesmerizing. As with any Pity Party performance, it's not all sadness and longing. The set is peppered with a brilliant sense of the absurd, mixing lots of humor with awkward, tender moments.
