Using state-of-the-art equipment, Chicagoland's Supernatural Investigation Crew will take you on a "spirited" search for the spine-tingling truth. SIC is a team of experienced ghost hunters whose mission is to explore haunted properties around the country. Their YouTube series, In the Shadows, is set to debut this fall. Includes a 3-hour paranormal investigation with complimentary hors d'oeuvres and soft drinks. Cash bar is available (proof of age required). Includes free parking.

  3. Migrant Quilt Project Exhibit

    October 14, 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Urban Edge

    The Migrant Quilt Project is a grassroots, collaborative effort of artists, quilt makers, and activists to express compassion for migrants from Mexico and Central America who died in the Southern Arizona deserts on their way to create better lives for themselves and their families. Materials used in the quilts were collected at migrant layup sites used for rest and shelter on established trails in the Sonoran Desert. Seventeen quilts are on display at Urban Edge through October 14th. The exhibit is open Friday through Sunday, noon to 7pm. Groups and classes may arrange times outside of set times by contacting the Waukegan Arts Council at (847) 920-4ARTS.
