  4. Turkey Fest at North Avenue Tap

    Join the fine, deep-frying folks at North Avenue Tap again this year for their annual Turkey Fest! They will be raffling off 30 turkeys and 30 hams with all of the proceeds from the raffle going to WAGS (Waukegan Animals Getting Saved). There will be additional prize drawings as well. AND, if that's not enough, they deep fry seven 16 pound turkeys with all of the fixings for customers to enjoy. AND it's Bears vs Vikings. Come and enjoy!

    Families, join the Waukegan Public Library for a free movie - popcorn included! The movies run through Sundays, November 25th. This Sunday's movie is Curly Sue: Bill is a penniless drifter who scams strangers out of just enough money to feed himself and his partner in crime, an orphan girl known as Curly Sue. Bill and Curly Sue target Grey, a yuppie lawyer, but their con takes an unexpected turn when the successful woman begins to like the ramshackle duo. She decides to take the girl in and falls in love with Bill, but there's one problem -- Grey's jealous, conniving boyfriend, Walker.
