INFORMATION ONLY: 7. The The Waukegan Fire
Department has received the new Pierce Aerial Ladder Truck as approved by the
Council. The truck will be placed
into service on Friday The Waukegan Fire
Department has submitted a grant application to the Department of Homeland
Security for a Fire Prevention and Safety Initiative. The grant request is for
early childhood education involving the Fire Safety Trailer. Materials
and personnel costs have been included in the request which totals
approximately $39,000. |

appeal $500.00 seizure litigation with their own money not tax dollars.
Discussed Hakeem petitions and the fact that Alderman Cunningham confronted
them when he noticed that he had signed Hakeem’s petitions. |

ALDERMEN’S TIME: 18. To draft a
letter/resolution and send to the State and the Illinois Municipal League to
increase the number of members on the Police and Fire Pension Boards.
We currently have little or no say on who gets pension. |

don’t like the way an Alderman spends their money, they vote them out of
office. Under the current Pension Board we have no control over who
gets money. If they are hurt we need to give them money. They are using
the system. |
