pronounced at the beginning of the Council meeting. He stated that it was a beautiful prayer
but the City needs to be more inclusive.

Brumfield’s home should have never been torn down. He asked if the City did anything to help

Alderman Newsome that Corporation Counsel draft an Ordinance to amend Section
24.36 “Connection with sanitary sewers” providing that the home is located
100 feet from the lot line in which the owner must connect to city water
within 90 days or after, also if the home is located 200 feet from the water
& sewer line, the hook up requirement should be waived and to waive the
rezoning petition fees for 24 months.
