AUDIENCE TIME:

30.  Need zoning letter to sell her house. It use to cost $25.00 now it cost $100.00. Why do I need this letter to sell my house the zoning has not changed? I don’t understand, John Jurkovac said the fee has not been changed for over twenty years. Fee pays for inspection costs and establishes the number of people who can live in the house.

Chris Blanks

ALDERMEN’S TIME:

35. Basketball game last Friday was remarkable. Wish them luck tomorrow..

Alderman Figueroa

36. Waukegan community council is programming a spring clean up, maybe Public Works can help organize the efforts. The YCC will help senior citizens clean up their property.

Alderman Newsome

37.   Let’s bring back spring clean up. Most people will not put out extra items because they have to pay for them.

Alderman TenPas

38. Yard waste collection began today. Get out there and clean up our property. We need to take the time to get to know your neighbors. Help them out if you can. Read a letter from a child who once lived in his neighborhood.

Alderman Needham

39.  Great game Friday. Fan section was outstanding.

Alderman Rivera

40. Suspicious vehicle in resident neighborhood. First call at 10:15 did not arrive until 10:55 discussed ways of improving response time.  He would like to see a substation in this area.  Thanked for helping at Lions Breakfast.

Alderman Cunningham

ALDERMEN’S TIME:

41.  Kudo’s to the Bulldogs. Was a candidate for Mayor congratulated Mayor for is primary win it is time to move forward. I need to look into the public housing system in Waukegan. We are going to reinvent ourselves as community. I cannot believe what is going on in the Housing Authority. Fear of being thrown out of their apartment. Abusive managers I will work to correct these problems. Our schools need more books.  We do not give them the tools to be more productive. How can you not have books for math and science? We need to know what is going on with the school board. His daughter did not get a math book. We will move Waukegan to greatness.  Mentioned that Waukegan needs a job program. We must find jobs for our people. We have to think outside the box.
