AUDIENCE TIME:

23.  Disappointed with Police Department, they treated him like a bum when he tried to fill out a police report. Does not like the way they (police department)  treat people. I don’t have a police record or anything.

James Washington

852 S. Martin Luther King Jr.

24. The police department single out black people. They have a bad attitude should treat people like human beings. Police tactics are harassment.

Mike Harris

852 S. Martin Luther King Jr.

25. He is stopped every day when he gets off the school bus. Net unit asked him why he was recording their arrest (last Friday) officer said he attempted to strike him, he was arrested and charged with battery & resisting.

Latiya Blanks

26. I was with my brother (Mike Harris) I was filming the Net Team, Mark punched my brother in the face arrested for resisting arrest, loud music, obstructing a police officer.

Shaquita Banks

409 Oak Street

27. How many officers does it take to take a woman down? My brother was punched in the face by a police officer. The officers acted like a gang. Questioned what good is it to get a badge number you are not doing anything to correct the problem.

Chris Blanks

409 Oak Street

28. I do not know what I can say that I have not said before.  Office of professional standards, we need an independent agency to do police related citizen complaints.  The net unit needs to be disbanded.  You have the gang element in the police department.  The Net Unit is a gang.  Kirk needs to look at the $840,000 that he is giving Waukegan to eliminate gangs
