TEDDY ANDERSON 1524 N. SHERIDAN RD |

(MAYOR HYDE SPOKE ON LIBRARY) |
ALDERMAN NEWSOME |
ALDERMEN’S TIME:
17. She spoke about garage and rummage sales. When does it go from a sale to a flea market? You can have only 3 garage sales per year. We need to address this issue, before it gets out of hand. We should revisit this ordinance. |
ALDERMAN TENPAS
18. Dead trees on private property need to be cut down. When do we tell people their trees are dead and they need to be cut down? |
ALDERMAN LARSEN
19. Visitors coming into Waukegan are seeing all the positive things in the city. People are talking about how good the streets and sidewalks look, excellent parks and how impressive Genesee Theatre is. |
ALDERMAN RIVERA |
20. Waukegan Main Street did an excellent job at the Art and Wine Stroll. Businesses downtown want to see this event happen again. He agrees with Alderman Newsome on the Garage Sales. The design of the Lakefront Bluff is very impressive. Once we move the railroad, that property will be expensive. There will be a Golf Outing Wednesday for Asthma Research. |
ALDERMAN CUNNINGHAM |
21. Commended Main Street for their hard work at the Art and Wine Stroll. CDBG may be able to help people remove dead trees from their property. They may also be able to improve the exteriors of the homes. People don’t have the money to take care of these dead trees. Congratulated his wife for receiving her Master’s Degree in Education. |
ALDERMAN MOISIO |
22. He asked John Jurkovac for a registry of all vacant properties in Waukegan. Main Street does a great job. The beach is busy all day, every day. Maybe the people who purchase a parking pass, we can give them a discount on food purchase or merchandise. |
ALDERMAN FIGUEROA
23. Round Lake Beach works with Banks to get vacant property back on the market. We need to look into a way to do the same. |
