The Council of the City of Waukegan met in regular session on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 7:00P.M. In the City Council Chambers, City Hall 100 North Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.  Mayor Sabonjian, City Clerk, Wayne Motley, and Corporation Counsel Newton Finn were present.

1.        1. Thursday and Friday conference in Chicago on shopping centers Waukegan 1st appearance at conference David & Robin did a fine job. There is little out there in new development. The conference was interesting we met a lot of people in the field. Working with our lobbyist to get our name out there.

2.        Julian Towers, we are reviewing our options we want this to become a better building. Police did an excellent job on capturing the Sheridan Road burglars.

3.        Met with Library Board and discussed their plans for the redevelopment of the space in the parking structure. Bradbury Event at the Genesee Theatre was great. November 5, open house to show available buildings in our downtown.

4.        Finn spoke on the day of the dead event that was held downtown this past weekend in the community gardens.
