The City of Waukegan and Veolia have designated the following Tire Collection Weeks:

 

Currently there are no special collection
weeks scheduled for 2010. Call Veolia at
(847) 623-3870 for proper disposal rules.

 

During these weeks Waukegan residents may place old car tires at the curb on their regular garbage pick up day. Tires will be collected in a separate truck and will be recycled.

 

Residents are limited to four (4) car tires per calendar year for collection. Only regular sized car tires will be collected. Truck tires and oversized tires will not be picked up.

 

All rims must be removed from the tires and tires must be neatly stacked at the curb. Tires should only be put out during the designated collection week.
